The way Melissa writes is genius. She has a way of keeping secrets from you, and has you find them out along with the characters. I am usually pretty good with books that do that, and figure it out before the characters. But with this book, I was constantly wanting to read more because that was the only way I was going to find the answer. I love that, because it kept my interest! I read it in 1 day because of that! The story itself is beautiful. I can't help but feel sympathy for Araya. She is a beautiful character. I want a character like this in every book! It just brings more to the story I find. Getting further in the book, there were a lot of juicy moments, and the most shocking ending ever. I definitely did not expect that. I cannot wait for The Grace of Darkness, book 2 in the Darkness Trinity! I have to give this book 5 out of 5 book-a-saur paws!
